Sorry for the late blogpost update.

Just got home from Johor Bahru with Xiaxue, KayKay and Yutaki !!! 

Initially I didn't wanted to go because I was damn tired from work ( this new part time job of mine ). But after several consideration, I decided to go to JB ( as planned ).

I must say, it's damn FUN. 

Apart from the shopping, it's really about the feeling of being in a roadtrip with your friends ( gossiping, updating about each other lives and cracking lame jokes ) which I loved !!! 

Best of all, we got *noms* on foodies along the way ( famous Bah Ku Teh, Herbal Egg, Paper Chicken, Chi Char etc etc )!!! 

OK anyway there's so many things happening in my life that I feel the need to update you guys ( ok I feel like Nancy Grace now ).

So recently I had my flea at ForFleaSake Blogshop Carnival.

It was my second time being invited to a flea.

The turn out was amazing ( Especially QiuQiu's booth which was FILLED with her pool of readers !!! Damn Kua Zhang !!! ).

But I'm very happy that so many of my readers came down to support me.

I'm so happy that I get to camwhore with you guys !!! But I was damn busy packing/arranging my clothes and camwhoring with you guys, I didn't managed to have time to camwhore much with my own camera. FML !!!

Recently, I also went to dye my hair !!! 

There's a story behind why I actually stick to being dark hair for quite some time.

( Some of y'all might have known that ) All along, apart from schooling and blogging, I do earn a decent income from working as a part time in a beauty retail line ( well, it's decent enogh for me to save up $$$ for my own plastic surgery and shopping etc lah ).

Recently I quit this job ( that had been with me for 2.5 years ). It was not easy for me to leave the company because I was so familiarize with the job itself ( plus I'm so attached with all my colleagues, they're basically like a family member to me ).

However because the company came out with a new regulation of monitoring the usage of part timers. The availability of my shifts became limited ( which means lesser $$$ ). I can still survive with the $$$ if I stayed ( maybe shop less ? ) but I feel that it's time for me to go and try a new job that I didn't experienced before ( plus I'm a believer of trying new things and pulling myself out from my own comfort zone ).

So guess what's my new part time job ? BARTENDING/WAITERING !!! LOL !!! I know the job sounds totally unglamorous and irrelevant *facepalm* but I kind of wanting to try it out for quite some time ( plus I have half a year more to enlistment to army, I have nothing to lose even if tge job doesn't turn out to suit me ).

I never experience nightlife job before plus I want to know how nightlife job operates. So I decided to give this job a try.

I can tell you my first day at work was BAD !!! I was a total loser because I have limited knowledge on alcohols/wines/champaign etc, plus I was pacing up and down ordering/waiter-ing to customers ( mad exhausting ) and understanding how the whole bar operates ( and thousand more things to learn !!! ) 

*cries* But I'M NOT A QUITTER AND NEVER WILL BE !!! I will learn and absorb as much knowledge/experience/lesson as much as possible !!! *yay* 

( if this job turns out to not suit me, I can still tell myself  "Hey, at least you tried to be cool and work in a nightlife before. LOL !!! ") 

Ok the cool thing about this job is that, I don't have to wear a uniform and I can do whatever haircolor I want ( which my previous job grooming regulations don't allow me to, that's why I stick to boring dark hair for so damn long ). 

So straightaway right after I quit my job on Sunday, I went to dye my hair on Monday.

Here's the photos that I took in the salon : 



Initially, I wanted to dye my hair to pastel lagoon blue ( that BigBang TOP used to have, I can't bother to upload the photos. There's millions of it on google, go find ). 

But Wayne ( Essensual Bugis's Senior Hair Stylist ) told me that I might not get the exact color that I wanted because my hair had a mixture of new grown hair-roots and patches of my previous hair colour. So he needs to bleach/even out my color ( fraction by fraction ), so to maximize the chance of obtaining the color that I wanted.

After 6 hours of bleaching, here's the result of Wayne's work :

Totally UNPHOTOSHOP !!!

RIGHT VIEW 

BACK !!!

 The color is more to PASTEL BLUE-GREEN than being just PASTEL BLUE !!!


Because I dyed my hair to blue before and it doesn't last. The color fade damn quickly. So Wayne suggested to have a mixture of BLUE-GREEN.


So even if the blue fades, the green stays and it will give those ashy-greyish feel.


Mad love Wayne !!! My hair was done by him twice and he's damn detail with his haircuts and coloring lah. Never disappoints.


I was telling him a reader commented on my Formspring that he cut too slow.


He confidently replied " If want good results, must have patience. No patience, go neighbourhood $10 haircut loh !!! ".


Damn true please.


I see those $5 neighboorhood hair salon popping up in Bedok Interchange, I feel damn stress for the customers going in !!!


WTF !!!! $5 haircut/ for each session ( if you sign their 5 session package ) ?!?!


Plus the hairdressers seemed like those unskilled PRCs. Mad scary.

Ok I'm done updating you guys about the recent happenings in my life.

Mad tired already.

Had to end my blogpost abruptly !!!

Anyway tomorrow would be ( yet ) another long day for me, got to meet with my photographer to plan a photoshoot ( which is happening on thursday ) for my new blog banner !!!

I've been wanting to give a little "face-lift" for my blog ( refreshen it up ) for quite some time !!!

  1. I think you look great with your new hairdo & color. In my opinion you are one of the few people who can rock such an eccentric hairstyles anyway since it does seem to suit your personality. Or in other words it just doesn't seem to be fake like if you've been trying hard (which often is the case with other people).

    Your excitement regarding your new blog design is contagious. Looking forward to it. ^^
