| [ REVIEW ] I absolutely ADORE any products that deals with heat protecting ( though this one of my absolute fav ). As my hair is constantly bleached and coloured, it's undeniable that my hair texture is HORRENDOUS. That's when I start to generously invest on hair products to combat on dry hair texture. At first, I was reluctant to try on heat protective products ( even though my former colleagues highly recommended me some ). *Maybe just like some of you* I find the term "heat protective" rather stupid. That's when I'M W.R.O.N.G #OutOfCuriosity I went to google on the possible heat damage ( emitted by heated styling tools ) and I'm appalled !!! Do you know that ... Heat styling tools are one of the LEADING CAUSE to damaged hair because Heat cracks hair cuticle and withdraws moisture, thus leaving hair dry and brittle !!! *Alright* So I went ahead to buy my first heat protective product which is the Kiehl's Heat Protective Cream. I must say the Kiehl's Heat Protective Cream is *infact* a good product BUT ... The only problem that I had with the product is the PACKAGING. Because I travel and stay over at my friend's house often, it's very hideous to bring along a tube of hair cream and there was once it spilled all over my bag ( because I never cap it properly ). That's when I told myself to look for a substitute and I found it !!! Wella Professional Thermal Image Heat Protective Spray not just work as effectively well. The natural smoothness of my hair last even longer. Some tips when you use this product. Spray this product evenly on your hair, NOT YOUR SCALP after shower ( when your hair is borderline damp ) and you can start blowdrying, tonging your hair etc. After you're done, *to better the effect* you can spray a second round ( but keeps an arm length away before spraying ). |
